Great Dogs. Even Better People.

One thing I don’t talk about enough is my customers.

I have been incredibly blessed with the kind of people who choose to become part of the Sokota family. This isn’t just a transaction to me. These are relationships that last long after a puppy goes home, and the people on the other end of that matter just as much as the dogs I’m raising.

I put a lot of intention into who I work with. That’s why I have an application process. It’s not about making things difficult or exclusive. It’s about making sure we’re the right fit for each other. I want my puppies going into homes that align with what I believe in, and I want my buyers to feel confident that I’m the breeder for them.

Energy matters. Communication matters. Respect matters.

I want things to start on a solid foundation of kindness and understanding, because that foundation is what carries us through everything that comes after.

But the reality is, no matter how many boxes you check or how careful you are, you can’t predict everything.

Sometimes people don’t show you who they really are until there’s a little pressure. Until something doesn’t go perfectly. Until expectations don’t line up exactly how they imagined.

And that’s where things get real.

I do my best, every single time, to show up for my customers. To answer questions, to offer support, to be transparent, and to stand behind what I produce. But I’m also honest enough to say this… it is impossible to please everybody.

And I’ve learned that trying to will burn you out fast.

What matters to me is that I continue to operate with integrity. That I treat people fairly. That I communicate clearly. And that I stay consistent in how I show up, regardless of the situation.

Because the right people… they see that.

They appreciate the effort, the honesty, and the care that goes into what I do. They become repeat buyers, friends, and part of something bigger than just bringing home a puppy.

Those are my people.

And to those of you who have trusted me, supported me, and stood beside me through the good and the not-so-perfect moments… I see you, and I appreciate you more than you know.
